 H  6 1/2" x W  7" x 6" rim
 Found & dug by Mr. Crump in 1967.
ex: Ed Meiners collection, purchased by Charles Wesley in 1981, then i purchased from him at an old Opryland, Nashville, Tn. show back in 1992. The rim has nodes completely around as well as the 4 handles. Great example of Mississippian shell tempering. I was told when i purchased this piece that it many has slight restoration on one of the handles and maybe a probe hole, but i can't find any repairs. I've had it under a loope and black-light and all looks very solid and heavily patinated. Excellent use-wear and fire clouds.

Found on Richard's Landing in TN.
Great miniture with lots of character. Rim is perfect and has two strap handles and two protruding suspension grooves. Excellent cross-hatching and facial expression. Beautiful piece of delicate Mississippian artwork.
